Nanda Devi East (7434m)

Nanda Devi East

In 2009 I plan another expedition to India. This time my aim is to climb Nanda Devi East.

Nanda Devi East was first climbed by Polish expedition in 1939. Now, 70 years later I will try to follow in my grandfather's footsteps who was the first one on the summit. Read more on www.nandadevi.pl

Nanda Devi East 2009 I have been planning the expedition to Nanda Devi for last three years. This is a technical peak that has not yet been climbed by any Polish person since the first ascent in 1939. Holy mount for Indians, is considered to be the most difficult mount climbed in Himalaya before the Second World War.

Tatra runIn 2004 I made a long run/walk through Tatra (highest Polish mountains). I climbed several most important peaks Rysy, Świnica, Czerwone Wierchy i Starorobociański Wierchy in one day. It took me over 17 hours, I made over 30 miles, 12000 feet up over 13000 feet down.

New webpage I created my first webpage in 2004. The page had interesting look but was not very clear. In 2008 I inaugurated a new version of my webpage. I hope now it will be easier to develop.

Marathon in Poznań I ran marathon in Poznan in October 2008. Although it was my third marathon, for the first time I ran it under 3 hours. My time 2h 58m 20s. This was another best time for me this year, before I set my personal best for 10K (35m 54s).
